MULS mission is to become a leading research university, where professors strive for excellence in education and research, while students pursue excellence in their studies. MULS provides higher education and carries out scientific research, technical and consulting activities in the field of agriculture, veterinary medicine, agronomy related production and processing technologies.

Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS) established in 1958 and is the unique University that prepares specialists in the agricultural and veterinary medicinal field.

Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS) have 5 schools. One of them, the School of Agroecology has 1640 students 88 professors in 4 departments, namely Department of Ecology, Department of Agronomy and Soil Sciences, Department of Forest, Landscape and Plant protection and Department of Land management. More than 60 percent of our lecturers and professors have doctoral degrees.

MULS is accredited for the third time in 2018 and is in compliance with the standards. The School of Agroecology of the Mongolian University of Agriculture is a leading institution that conducts research and education on agriculture and nature conservation. School of Agroecology of the Mongolian University of Agriculture has a team works for internal quality assurance to conduct internal audits.

The overall activity of the university is education, research and technology development for sustainable agricultural management and environmental management. In the Department of Ecology, we prepare bachelors and masters in 4 different categories; Ecology and Environmental protection, Environmental assessment, Environmental restoration, and Ecotourism.

Our scientists successfully implemented more than 60 national level projects in agriculture, environmental protection and climate change domestic projects, and successfully implemented international projects cooperating with 16 foreign universities of 8 countries

MULS has 664 faculty members (professors, associate professors, lecturers). The staff of the involved departments has got international cooperation experience in both education and research projects.

MULS has participated in several TEMPUS, Erasmus External Cooperation window, Techno II, Eurasia 2 and Erasmus+ projects. The professors and researchers from School of Agorecology will be get involved in the project.
