Eco Asia EMU
Since 2000, total of 1300 bachelor’s students have graduated from the university in environmental management field. About 20 percent of these graduates are working in the central and local environmental organizations and Ministry of Environment Department in charge of national PAs. About 40 Master’s students have graduated from the university in the past and less than 10 percent of them are working in the organizations in charge of national PAs. Because the number of people working in this field is not sufficient, the university has a need to develop curriculum on subject of ecosystem services and graduate Master’s students.
The Eco Asia EMU is a private higher educational institute and offers BSc and Master’s degree in environmental sciences.
Eco Asia EMU employs in total of 24 academic staffs and lecturers, and 20 of them are professionalized researchers in the field of environmental management. The Lecturers of University are experienced researchers, being worked as project team members and consultants of international and national projects, undertaking various research and investigations.
The Eco Asia EMU is an independent scientific research – education and training organization that provides higher education to citizens, conducts scientific research on environmental and technological field and introduce the results to training and manufacturing.
As a higher educational organization, the Eco Asia EMU has been conducted trainings and implemented projects on environmental and National Park management in the country. University manages its function in close cooperation with scientific research institutes, centres and NGOs of Mongolia.
